2010 Impact Teachers responded...

 

Leaves are falling

it gets colder out

birds fly south

leaves change color

plants die

days get shorter

days get longer

temp. changes

it snow

some mammals hybernate

creatures migrate

flowers bloom

it rains a lot

fur gets thicker

i have to rake leaves

i have to mow

pets shed

fur changes colors

animals store food

the sounds of animals change

corn in the fields

nest building

babies are born

icy - ponds ice over

frost on the grass

shoveling snow

 

These are all excellent examples of seasonal markers.
