Resources and Links
|
III. Temperature Protocols - Max, Min and Current Temperature 00:45-01:10
|
Tip for datasheets: Print out one copy. Black out or tape white paper over the parameters you and your students are not collecting. Write or type in the information that will never change (school name/site name). Make a new master and many copies for your students.
|
IV. Precipitation Protocols - Rain 01:10-1:25 - Note: Temp protocols ran long so precipitation will be covered in week 4.
|
| IV. Homework (for those seeking certification) 1:15-1:20 |
Select and define your class’s study site.
Print the Site Definition Data Sheet and complete it for the site you intend to collect data.
In an email, send Marcy the:
- Lat/Long/Elevation,
- Site name
- list of Protocols you hope to collect data for at this location
- meta data for this location (if there is any)
- questions that came up while you were defining your site
Keep your Site Definition Data Sheet in a handy place - we will USE this sheet during the Webinar for week 5.
If your school/institution's site is already defined - re-complete the site definition. If possible, note any inconsistencies between your data and the site as currently defined (you may not know how to access the original site definition data, that's ok we can do that during week 5).
|
| V. Open Q & A 1:20-1:30 |
We'll try to end each session with time to address class and technical questions, share progress, etc.
